Is Minecraft worth buying? Is it boring?

Minecraft is amazing, expecially if you join a multiplayer server. You will make so many online friends once your in a server that you will eventually become a regular. Singleplayer is boring unless you're on the phone with someone and just want to work on a new World because of the urge to do something with your hands xD Plus it's not as distracting. However, I have to admit that if you play Minecraft for a long time, you will get a 'burn out' like I have now. I've played it so much (talking about several hours a day) that I'm now burnt out on it and probably will be for quite a while.

Minecraft=Life

Minecraft should be played more with other people so everyone can enjoy it together. It does get boring after a little while but every game can get boring after playing is for an X amount of time.

These were close to my thoughts before I brought the game. Playing Single player can get boring but there's always Multi-Player, You don't necessarily have to play with you're friends you can just join a server, there's a fairly strong community. If you're talking about the Xbox version I'm not 100% sure, I only brought the Xbox version because my friends were willing to buy the game and give it a try, if you have no friends willing to buy the Xbox version it's not really worth it.

Where I have not played Minecraft myself, I do know my girlfriend and a lot of other friends play it. It seems like it could be really addicting and enjoyable. What I would suggest would be to play the demo which minecraft offers and see if it strikes your fancy :)

Good alot of persons will say minecraft is stupid or no longer valued at it i disagree it is a enjoyable recreation that you do anything you wish to have with some acquaintances but that is my opinion additionally i consider that you could play along with your sister not definite tho

I think it is definitely worth it for the PC. Xbox, I'm not sure. The Xbox version is apparently lacking a lot of the things that are on PC. For the PC, if you ever get bored, you can go multiplayer, download mods, texture packs, and other things.

I think it looks boring but I've never played it. I have 3 friends that love it!

The game is awesome but after less than a year getting it it was boring.
