Can someone explain the Gundam Model Grades to me?

what are the grades, and what makes the model that grade

    The Official Grading:

    High Grade (HG), 1/144 scale, for the beginning modeler.

    Master Grade (MG), 1/100 scale, for the more intermediate modeler.

    Perfect Grade (PG), 1/60 scale, contain about 300 parts, and are for the more experienced modeler.
