does any1 know how to program a digital scanner?
I just purchased a radio shack pro 2096, the pre-sets are from MD, im in LA/CA, the online manual im following but it's for set for ca, i attempted to program LAPD frequencies but got only stadic, what am i doing wrong?

From what I've read, you need to program the frequencies as a conventional channel and set the PL to 'FM'. From there, it should automatically decode the digital audio of LAPD audio and you should see a DG pop up on your screen. If you are not hearing LAPD, it might be because you are too far away.
