Is Mitt Romney suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder?

NAMI says 'MPD is a dissociative disorder involving a disturbance of identity in which two or more separate and distinct personality states (or identities) control the individual's behavior at different times. When under the control of one identity, the person is usually unable to remember some of the events that occurred while other personalities were in control. The different identities, referred to as alters, may exhibit differences in speech, mannerisms, attitudes, thoughts' and

'Some alters may harbor aggressive tendencies' (e.g.bullying, strapping dogs to car roofs, leveraged buy outs).

Mitt 1994 "I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country"

2002 "I will preserve and protect a woman's right to choose and am devoted and dedicated to honoring my word in that regard."

2011 "So I am firmly pro-life."

1994 "I was not planning on signing up for the military. It was not my desire to go off and serve in Vietnam."

"I longed in many respects to actually be in Vietnam and be representing our country there"

2004 "Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts."

2008 "the effort for a new assault weapons ban, with a ban on semi-automatic weapons, is something I would oppose."

Peter Beinart wrote of last nights debate. Romney- Obama wants to spend more on education. So do I! Obama’s against unaffordable tax cuts for the rich that will increase the deficit? So am I!

Both these positions and that he likes regulations go against what he's been saying all year.

He even said he would like to have poor children be able to attend school in wealthy districts - a radical left position.

Which Romney will be president if he wins? Will he repeal his own laws later in his term? Will he kill Obamacare and replace it with the same thing -Romneycared?

Update:

@ mojo - 'you are going so far back in time' I was also talking about last night's debate which he went against what he's been saying all campaign. At the debate he said "I will not reduce the taxes paid by high-income Americans,".He has been saying he will cut taxes for them by 20%. He's been arguing that reducing high income earners taxes will stimulate the economy. one could argue he is saying he will make up for the 20% reduction by closing loop holes but the highly respected Tax Policy Center says that's impossible, and the burden will fall on the middle class and the deficit. Even if he could and taxes in the end remained the same for high income earners, he can't say he's going to stimulate the economy by tax reductions on the wealthy if in the end they pay the same.

Either he has MPD or he was trying to throw Obama and the public off by denying half of everything he's stood for this campaign. Most likely he really is a liberal Re

You're going back in time so far....it's ridiculous to NOT expect someone to change his/her views on things. People change over time, we grow & change unless they are so rigid. Now changing ones view on things doesn't bother me....but a liar does! I see Romney as a very ethical & moral man....more than I can say for Obama.

No, but a strong case could be made for Obama being a pathological liar.
