what does the color wheel mean?

my mac pc often stalls or crashes half of the time ,the color wheel appears. I took it too a shop to no avail other than to be told that it was too old a pc, can't even be up dated.

    you probable have multiple emails or unneeded documents lit .tmp's sparkling out your inbox and trash of unneeded emails and seek your records for .tmp report or simiar that are copies of documents you have already got, yet you may no longer open them up. delete unecessary issues each on occasion to sparkling area!

    It means that it's loading. Very very slowly. Get a new windows pc, really.
