What Could Be So Bad That He Won't Go on ONE Date?
Okay, well, I dated this guy for a month and a half before things got a little awkward, and we broke up. Summer came and went, and now we're both at school. Well, I still liked him even after we broke up.
I see him at school. Treat him like a friend. Tell him about this other guy I was crushing on. He acts like a bud and helps me only to find that the guy didn't like me.
He's nice about it and everything, and then he admits he likes someone. A week of hints and I knew it was me, but I waited until I was ABSOLUTELY sure. Then I told him I knew who he liked, but I wouldn't guess. Then after two hours he texts me, "FINE I LIKE YOU." I replied, "I knew it! :)"
I thought about it for a day before asking this because, like I said, we broke up due to awkwardness. I asked him if he'd make a deal. I'd try another date with him to see if it wasn't awkward if it was a double date.
He said kind of. And after much digging he told me his friends would "never let him live it down". It being going on another date with me.
He won't tell me why or how or anything about that statement. So, sadly, I turn to the internet because my friends are a bunch of idiots when it comes to guys.
What could be so bad about going on another date with me? (Please, don't take that arrogantly. I just want to know why his friends would give him a hard time.)
