Is there a Super Bowl you would NOT watch?
For example, I would seriously NOT watch the Steelers vs Eagles. I would rather knit a blanket or rake leaves then watch that.

Ok I will admit - there are a few possible combination of games that I would CONSIDER missing the entire first half if I genuinely had something else I had to do (like a lot of homework).
But come on, it's the SUPER BOWL. It comes once a year. Any true football fan owes it to himself or herself to watch the pinnacle of what the previous 6 months has led to. Let's say you watch all 16 of your team's games and they don't make the playoffs. You watch all 16 Sunday and Monday Night games and all 10 playoff games leading up to the Super Bowl. That's 174 hours of your life of watching football in an average season. How can anyone not watch at least PART of the final game after putting all those hours in? I certainly couldn't.
Anyway, here is my list of potential games I would be willing to miss the first half of.
Dallas vs. Pittsburgh (Are they both great teams? Yes. Are they both storied franchises? Yes. But they're also media darlings. Troy Aikman would start talking about all of the games he played against Pittsburgh back in the 90's when Dallas was last relevant, and Joe Buck would start talking about all the great players in both these teams' histories. It would end up pissing me off. Plus, I always find myself smacking my forehead at the play of Roethlisberger and Romo. Ben is like Tebow in a way. He doesn't mind holding the ball for 10 seconds because he thinks he can take a hit and stay on his feet. What happens? 5 guys tackle him and he gets up perplexed, like a deer in headlights who just got hit. Romo? Oh, man. I don't even LIKE the guy, but I still cringe with anger at some of the mistakes he makes. He's as competent as Chevy Chase was in the National Lampoon movies.
2. San Diego vs. Philadelphia (I hate Philip Rivers. I hate how he always finds time to talk trash. I hate that arrogant little smirk he carries around with him. I hate his character, too. Ever since V-Jax left, there is now nobody else on that team I like. I can't stand watching Philly games either. Obnoxious, classless fans and Michael Vick's style really puts me to sleep. 1st and 10, overthrows DeSean Jackson on a streaks route. 2nd and 10, hands to McCoy. 3rd down, throws a duck over Maclin's head. That offense is never "on" in consecutive drives. Ever.)
3. Baltimore or Houston vs. San Francisco (Let's face it. I don't dislike any of these three teams, but the score would be something like 6-6, 6-3 or 3-0 at halftime. I'm not going to be missing a whole lot with these defenses.)
Here are some of my Super Bowl combinations that I would love to see that don't involve my team.
Washington vs. Indianapolis (Obvious)
Denver vs. NY Giants (Obvious)
St. Louis vs. anybody (I have nothing but respect for Jeff Fischer, and badly want to see him win a ring before he retires)
Oakland vs. Green Bay (My dad's favorite team vs. my mom's favorite team)

Being a Detroit Lions fan I don't really enjoy ANY Super Bowl match up whne I know I will not live long enough to see the Lions there. Although, I DID watch the last time they won a championship in 1957.
In truth, no matter who gets there I find a reason to root for one team or the other. Sometimes it's a bet. Sometimes I like a certain player on one of the teams. Sometimes io go for the team that all my friends are against.
In your least likable SB I would root for the Eagles because I like green uniforms.

I think the Steelers/Eagles would be a good matchup to watch. Teams I dont like watching are teams that are run heavy and rely on defense. Low scoring games. Like the Bears and the Jets is an example I can think of. Not that either has a chance to make it...

I would probably still watch, but any combination of the Ravens or Patriots from the AFC vs. the 49ers and Cowboys from the NFC would really push me to my limits.

I wouldn't watch a Packers Patriots superbowl, I'd have no one to root for and I'd hate the outcome no matter what happened.
Other than that, any other combination of teams would interest me.

Very clever business. I loved it. There is some dialogue within the disability community that it isn't available to men and women who're blind and descriptive audio should be available. However I nonetheless find it irresistible!
