    Apple doesn't play .wma files.

    You can't. iTunes won't play wma files, though it does convert them for you. That us if they have no copy protection on them.

    If your wma files have drm on then (aka copy protected files) then you might need to jump more hoops. Take a look at the audiobook vendors website,
