Who would win in a fight: a German shepherd (medium-sized) or an omega gray wolf (both in healthy condition)?

the German shepherd all the way, the fact that it is the omega is a big deal because the omega is basically the pack punching bag but it becomes tougher because of it. In the end since wolves are pack hunters and the omega is a terrible fighter anyway (the reason it got the position in the pack as omega)
The omega is the lowest of the low in the ranking of wolf packs because of its ability. so ... German Shepherd would probably kill it rather quickly.

If it was the alpha it would be a close call, it could go either way.
But since it's the omega wolf, the GSD would win. A lot of times omegas are small, or weak, and because of that they don't last long.
