Speed Demons - Best New Sportscoupe?

I've never owned a new car; I deserve to at least once. While I am still (relatively) young and have some kind of respectable reflexes, I would prefer to get a "cool sportscar" or "a bitchin' ride." My price range is about $25k - $35k, but of course I would love to pay less than 12,000 (No Warren Buffet here!)
=> I have pretty much narrowed it down to the Subaru BRZ or the V6 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Is the Subaru really powered by Tinker Bell - THAT underpowered? Is Hyundai's build quality really the level of a pig sty? Any other concerns that I should be thinking of? Advice from the owners of either of these vehicles could win you a six pack of cold, frosty beverage.
Lastly, of course, any other vehicles that I should be considering? Thank you speedsters, hot rodders, and tuner kids for any and all advice about this!

For sheer acceleration the New Boss is hard to beat. It may not handle as well as the BRZ, but it can go faster then any one needs to go through the turns with a skilled driver at the wheel.

Its a hard choice. but i think for power and looks you should buy the Subaru BRZ but for reliability and maintenance you should buy the V6 Hyundai Genesis Coupe , but personally i would recommend the Subaru BRZ
