a spelling debate for everyone?
what is the correct way to spell the word LASAGNE? i ve just had some canadian muppet tell me its spelt LASAGNA..... hahahahhaha, since when???!! i happen to be half italian, i think i know the correct way, so if you agree then please state, if you disagree then i strongly suggest you google the correct (LASAGNE) spelling...
p.s if its spelt this way (LASAGNE) in italy which IT IS then that has to be correct as thats where the dish originates from....
please remember when you answer that you are speaking ENGLISH, its our language so our spelling is right....

the correct spelling is lasagne, only the U.S. spells it lasagna

Actually, it varies.
In the US (and I guess Canada), it is indeed spelt 'lasagna.'
Now, before anyone complains about how Americans can't even spell it correctly, keep in mind that the Italians spell it 'Roma,' not 'Rome.'

i never heard anyone say lasagne. i dont know about italy but in america its lasagna. and it all of us vs. you.

If you're Italian you would know that one is plural and the other one is singular
