In your opinion, what video games have amazing soundtracks?
My favorite video game soundtrack awards go to Journey made by Thatgamingcompany and World of Goo made by Kyle Gabler. They are absolutely great soundtracks from seriously underrated games.

For me, the answer to this question is easy - Halo 3's soundtrack.
The orchestra and epic percussion really hammer the already intense story home. Nothing felt cooler when an unfinished ring lifted out of the sky, when a blade pierced the heart of a false prophet, when two brave soldiers escaped a firing ring, were all accompanied by an epic chorus of beautiful music.
The music of that game really made me appreciate the power music has on anything. I felt like I was watching a movie when playing that game, because of the amazing, gripping story and the music that enhanced it.
Few games can match the power and lasting legacy their music had on their games like Halo 3 did. I agree with the Elder Scrolls series and Assassin's Creed series - but for me, Halo 3 blows them away.
Cheers

My all time favorite would have to be the Halo franchise. The percussion is amazing and having played from the very first game, it's amazing to hear some the songs from the original soundtrack evolve with the games. You can tell that the developers really treat the franchise as more than just a video game. They treat it like the art it really is.
The Elder Scrolls series starting from Morrowind all the way to Skyrim is my second favorite. Another favorite of mine is Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, though I'd say that it's probably nothing too special to everyone else lol I'm just a metalhead.
