How can I make my internet run smoother?
My internet runs slow and choppy. Pages are a little slow to load and sometimes internet explorer can't display the page. Sometimes it stops responding and forces to close. I use internet explorer 9. Based on this info, does it seem like there is a problem with explorer, or my wi-fi connection at home?

your pc might need a clean up/defrag, or you might have a network connection issue. if you're using wifi, definitely use a password to keep others off it, that'll slow you down. try to limit the number of users on the network if it is a bandwidth issue. you could also try resetting the modem and router. sometimes, especially when using autodetect systems, they can pick up a bad connection. resetting can sometimes get you a better one since it looks for a new one each time.
