My girlfriend is conviced my parents wont like her. How should i handle thing?

I cant understand it. She is worried my mom wont like her because of the tatoos and pericings she has. Then she made the comment that they are huge part of my life. I told her that is true, but they are a big part of my life cause they taught me right from wrong and how to grow. I also told her that they let me make my own decsions and keep their emotion aside even if they dont like what it is.

This is the worst thing about her. And she is totally convinced its true. I told her that it os. My mom brieflly met her twice.

Is there way to let her get over it? I feel like it may come between us at some point.
