Braxton Hicks Contractions?
Just wondering if anyone suffered braxton hicks and how long they had them before they went into labour, im 33 weeks and suffered from bad braxton hicks today, saw my midwife got checked over and they were happy to send me home

They are a normal occurrence further along. Some women have a few here and there in the 2nd trimester but much more common in the 3rd trimester. As you are right there now,expect to be dealing with them for some time. They are our bodies way of preparing for the real thing.
*Braxton Hicks are only 'practice' contractions. They aren't the real thing,they don't dilate you,they don't start labor. Just a nuisance.
Stay hydrated,rest,warm baths. All of those can help ease up Braxton Hicks.

Braxton Hicks contractions lasted several weeks before I delivered my child.
