Volleyball Tryouts In Two Days! Advice?
This is my first time actually trying out. I played club last year, but no one ever got cut from tryouts, so now I'm SUPER nervous.
I'm trying out for two different clubs, but they're sister clubs. I'm trying out for Libero (and Outside as secondary position).
I have tryouts Monday, maybe Tuesday, Thursday, and maybe Saturday. Monday and Thursayd are first day of tryouts for each club, and Tuesday and Saturday are the callback days.
Naturally, that's the week I get pounded with tests and homework.
So, does anyone have any advice?
How to balance homework and about four hours of volleyball from 5:15 (arrival and sign in) - 9 (list of callbacks/who made the team) with three hours of homework when I get out of school at 4:15 without dying the next day at possible callbacks or falling asleep during school?
How to act at try-outs?
What's the line between good loud and annoying?
Any stories or something that might calm me down.
Right now I'm freaking because I am totally SCREWED next week. Sorry that this is mostly just me telling about stuff you probably don't care about... :)
THANKS!

Tryouts should be exciting, not stressful, so relax. For homework, try to get as much as you can done during school, I usually do work during lunch time, i know it might be hard but if you want to make it work, you have to make sacrifices. Okay and then tryouts for clubs, it is better to be so loud that you are annoying, then to be too quiet to be seen. You want to make an impression on the coaches so they will remember you. At tryouts, try to be open to playing every position, its not that hard to remember them all, and well-rounded players are usually the ones to make the team. DO NOT be nervous, be excited. Even if you are an amazing actress, people will see you are nervous, and they won't want you on their team. any more questions? email me at tinkmegan96@yahoo.com

Dont walk, jog or run all the time.
Be confident and shake it off if you mess up.
Get low.
