I am Joshua Mbngo Dmbungo TONGUE-CLICK Jnr. Jnr.

    1. I very highly doubt it. He got out at the right time having beaten all the relevant heavyweights just as he was starting to slip.

    2. Don't come in at 256lbs. I presume what sparring he was doing was against shorter guys as he was training to fight Kevin Johnson. So prepare for Vitali instead of for Johnson.

    3. I strongly back Lennox. He came in unprepared and got caught in a fire fight he wasn't ready for early, but being 2 points down with 6 rounds to go is nothing, and just look at the last round. Vitali, in my opinion, had competely shot his bolt. He threw everything at Lewis in the first half of the fight and had nothing left to throw by round six. He was holding on relentlessly and Lewis was the one landing the quality shots by then. If Lewis had came in prepared for what was ahead I think he would've won by stoppage in the second half of the fight. Vitali's never been hard to find, and if Lewis finds you repeatedly you're in for a hard night.

    4. I think he'd probably have wanted a rematch.

    5. Probably, yeah.

    6. I'm no doctor, but just from looking at his face I'd say yes. If it had been allowed to continue and Vitali was forced to retire from the sport with a permanently damaged eye there would've been outrage.

    1. I think Lennox has been pretty clear about this in many interviews: "My mother asked me to retire and not accept this fight after she saw Vitali, who had come to meet us in London to negotiate about the rematch. She told me that she didn't like what she saw in the eyes of that man and she made me promise that I wouldn't take that rematch. I did as my mom wished"

Isn't that statement a clear proof that he ducked a rematch? After what Vitali did to him in the first fight Lennox was afraid of Vitali, period.

2.None, at that point nobody could help Lennox who was on his way out, while Vitali was rising.

    3. Vitali Klitschko

    4. Retired

    5. But he lost in the eyes of most fans. Don't you remember how embarrassed and frustrated was in the post interview, especially when he was booed? Actually he was the one talking about a rematch first to Larry Merchant. Bottom line is that Lennox didn't expect that Vitali was so powerful, so tough and so good, after their first fight Lennox didn't want any part of Vitali again.

    6. The cut was nasty, but the bleeding was very minor and Vitali wanted to continue fighting, but the ref did what he thought was right. Considering how Lennox was losing every bit of this match, how the big majority of the crowd gave to Vitali a standing ovation, while they booed Lennox, the British man should have been a man of his word, giving to Vitali a rematch as he promised. I am a British man in blood&heart and I have nothing but respect for Lennox, but I hear more and more people saying, especially now that the Klitscko legacy grows, that Lennox should never retire like a coward, but instead should go down as a champ, even if he had lost that rematch. Do you think if a similar scenario happens to Vitali vs Haye, Vitali would have retired instead of giving David a rematch? I doubt it.

Rumors are the stuff old men exchange from their rocking chairs, sitting safetly by using their fires. If Lennox Lewis comes out of retirement to provide Vitali Klitschko an extra fight, the blogbaba would simply must part with the cost of a plane ticket and show up in person for that one. Two grand for a decent seat is a bargin. It would cement Lewis's legacy as a class act, and silence the boxing critics as soon as and for all. Think me Lewis is aware of how dangerous of a beating he was once taking higher than any individual who watched it, and he would be taught from his mistakes. Both warring parties have had a high-quality deal of down time, so ring rust and rest wouldn't be reasons. I suppose Klitschko fought the fight of his life that night time and received careless. Lewis underneath performed and was able of a greater showing. If, and i stress the phrase "IF" a 2d battle ever takes location, i'd have got to take Lewis. Vitali could effortlessly show me flawed, and both method it could be a draw like no other, possibly even better than Oscar/Floyd. Lewis with the aid of KO late rounds, say eight or ninth.

    1) No, I agree with Joshua. I think Lennox was up there in age, didn't have a lot of desire anymore and had beat everyone he needed to.

    2) Probably just make sure Lennox didn't weigh so much and wasn't in sh*tty shape again. That was the biggest issue IMo.

    3) I think if Lennox showed up in good shape and wasn't taking the fight on two weeks notice or whatever it was the first time, that he'd beat Klitschko by decision.

    4) Lennox goes for the rematch. He avenged his only losses, and that tells me he's way too competitive to retire like that. He'd rematch Vitali without a doubt in my mind.

    5) No doubt he would. Money talks, and the Lennox rematch would've been HUGE and made him a sh*tload of money.

    6) Of course. Vitali looked like he was in a knife fight or that a monkey tried to claw his eyeball out. Just nasty, you could see a part of his eyeball that was not meant to be seen.

    1. Hell no. It wasn't Lewis' best performance, but he did enough to win that fight. He retired because he was getting older and had started to decline a bit.

    2. Keep the fight at the center of the ring, use the jab more and tie VK up should he try to get in.

    3. Lennox.

    4. Definitely a rematch.

    5. Sure, he would have.

    6. Yes.

1.What ! no after he tore off half of Vitali's head

2.None there were no adjustments to be made .Think about it this way Lennox knew this was going to be his last fight he knew that he was finished as a fighter and he still TKO a guy that people on here are calling ATG. LOL.

3.Lennox by 5th round ko the guy who wins the first fight wins the second fight 90% of the time if the fight is made in the same year.

4.He would have wanted a rematch but Vitali would have never given him one.

    5.No.

6.Yes it was but I was hoping that they give him one more round so Lennox could have had him rolling around on the canvas like the bitcch he is.
