if hunting will stop and everyone became vegan, what will happen ?

i heard people who dont eat meat at all or anything from the living will live longer than vegetarians and alot longer than those who eat meat. (vegan>vegetarian>regular)

also there are currently too many people on earth and in 10 years it will doubled.

what will happen to earth (and us) if all people stop killing animals completely and become vegan.

Update:

i meant no hunting but yes kill when self-defense.

For starters, you'll need a lot of knowledge (and occasionally technology) to supply a human being, which has evolved to be an omnivore, to live entirely of vegetable matter (if it's supposed to be healthy). Meat only on the other hand is possible (though not very appetizing) - see Inuit.

So, I strongly doubt your assumption that vegans live longer (or healthier) than omnivores. Please provide sources.

As to what would happen if everyone became vegan:

    short term:

    - many farms would collapse (essentially all farms that rely on the sale of meat or products derived from meat or animals), switching from animal farming to human vegetables is difficult and may be impossible for some areas

    - price of (vegan) food would rise. Although animal farming consumes more vegetable matter than feeding humans directly, that vegetable matter (e.g. silage fodder) is usually not fit for human consumption. In addition, vegetable farming is highly seasonal dependent - you'd need to either store (expensive) or transport (very expensive) vegetable based foodstuffs in a much larger amount than today

    medium term:

    - a lot of animals would become endangered or extinct. Why would you keep cows, pigs, rabbits or chickens (and many other animals) if not for food?

    - food problems in third world countries would become more pronounced. Even today, a lot of land area that in theory could feed the local populace is used to grow cash crops (not necessarily food - technical fats or base materials for 'ecofuel' for example) that are exported to industrialized countries. Now add a growing demand for exotic base materials for vegan high-tech foods. Even soy beans don't grow everywhere.

Face it - inside the global ecosystem (a.k.a. Gaia) _YOU_ (and I ;-) ) are on top of the food chain. Someone has to be, and it's your responsibility to fulfill that role. Although I'd have to admit that _reducing_ meat consumption (and I mean meat, not animal products like eggs, milk, cheese...) would be a sensible (and likely, in the short to medium term, necessary) measure. But rising prices will (hopefully) take care of that.

As to the increasing population: doubling within 10 years I'd think possible. Quadrupling within 20 - well, something will have to give before that.

i'd in simple terms enable everyone recognize that you're a vegan and leave it at that. If that man or woman is in contact they are going to attitude you about. you may convey it up yet when the man isn't in contact then do not take it any more desirable. also you do not ought to make it about being vegan, perhaps in simple terms getting them to eat loose variety animals. not everyone is going to be a vegan, yet everyone can do some thing to assist animals.

no vegans do not live longer than everyone who eats meat. that's a bais argument. you can be plenty healthy with meat in your diet as long as you don't eat it for EVERY single meat and eat the right amount 3 oz for females 6 oz for males.

animals will just continue to breed like all living things. over populate cuz hunting down cut down on over population despite some thinking it don't.

Hey, how are you doing? :)

There is a lot that would happen. First, many animals would be allowed to live out their lives in peace. Most animals would be on small, free range farms (there may be some local egg selling going on with hens. I'd hope no dairy though. It's really not ethical) There would be a lot more happy animals, as well as happy people getting enjoyment out of watching these beautiful beings. These animals want to live just as much as you and me and if everyone went vegan, it would be clear that we understand and respect that.

Secondly, there would be less environmental pollution, since there wouldn't be an outrageous number of cows to feed the people in the world that demand meat, that would mean less methane in the atmosphere. Also less recalls of foods as it's animal waste that can contaminate crops. It's not the crops that are the problem.

Third, there would be less starvation. You can feed more people with vegetarian based foods than you can with animal products. In fact, many feed the hungry organizations use vegetarian meals because they know it does JUST THAT; feeds more people. It also takes less land and less water to produce crops. Wouldn't it be great if more kids wouldn't have to go hungry?

I think in general, it's say to say we'd have a more peaceful (though not perfect), more compassionate world that people would want to live in.

That's just a small snippet. I don't want to make this too long or else it would be like a book, and no one wants to read that :P

You can watch this speech thoguh. He does a wonderful job of covering many aspects of what I just talked about :)
