internet explorer stops working constantly?

whenever i try to go to yahoo mail, my internet explorer shuts down. it will then restart, but if i try to get my mail, the same thing will happen again and again. it is NOT ie9, as my windows vista home basic will not carry that program. it is frustrating not being able to get to my mail. it is slow other places. i have run all the clean-up programs i have, and there are no viruses.

The title of your question has the answer in it already. It stops working constantly BECAUSE it's internet explorer. It's full glitches and issues and can potentially mess up your whole computer. Windows has issued statements actually ENCOURAGING users to stop using Internet Explorer.

I use Firefox and it works nicely. Click here to download free:

Here's chrome (I find it shuts down a lot, but it's better than I.E.):

If you're a Mac user, your computer will automatically come with Safari.

Why use Internet Explorer when you can use Google Chrome or Firefox?

Downloading another browser MIGHT solve the problem.

    Google Chrome download link (Reccomended):

    Firefox download link:
