As a breeder of Cockatiels for over 50 years I would never feed my birds on Pellets.

Cockatiels are SEED eaters and that is their Natural food ,Feed your bird on a good mixed seed diet supplemented with green veg , such as Broccoli, Kale, Carrot, Sweet Corn Cob, with an addition of fruit such as Apple ,Pear, Mango, never Avocado , Lettuce ,or sweets including Chocolate.

Pellets are made from waste products such as animal Offal, Seed including the husk , which the birds normally discard as it has no nutritional value what so-ever.

Pellets are not safe due to their contents which in most cases are not shown, on the ingredients, that is why I always say feed your birds on NATURAL Foods.

My Cockatiel lived till it was 25 years of age and never ever had pellets only natural foods.

Personally I would not pass any not up to Zupreem, despite the fact that at this factor ANY pellet vitamin goes to be higher than the seed vitamin your fowl is presently getting. So, if you'll be able to get your arms even on KayTee or anything, through all method do it! A cockatiel does not consume a entire lot, so a huge bag of pellet will final fairly a at the same time, making the fee rather less outrageous. Seeds aren't enough in vitamins for a fowl and they'll additionally influence in an chubby fowl with a few lovely critical wellbeing problems. It might not be an EASY conversion for the fowl, however they'll convert. Seeds are like feeding your fowl a vitamin of sweet. They are identical to children and don't seem to be going to wish to consume the healthful stuff after a vitamin of sweet, but when they have got no choice, they'll finally convert. Then upload a few seed in as a complement/deal with. Their vitamin will have to additionally comprise plenty of unpolluted end result and greens-to be able to additionally make your pellet rate just a little higher. I order my pellet in bulk and that still brings the fee down tremendously. If that's an choice for you, opt for it. Make definite you retailer it in an air tight box to preclude any critters and it'll be a as soon as a yr acquire for you!
