I'm looking for an RPG with a good construction mechanic.?

First, I am look for pen-and-paper style RPGs, not video games, so please don't recommend those.

What I am interested in is an RPG with an interesting way to build things. Particularly spaceships, mecha (giant robots), or other vehicles, but interesting character building would also be appreciated.

This is the list of systems I am already aware of, and don't need recommended again:

And because most of thses games have multiple settings, be aware that when I mention one I am refering to every edition of that game.

GURPS

Pathfinder

Dungeons and Dragons

Eclipse Phase

Mekton Zeta

Cyperpunk and Cybergeneration

Shadowrun

Any system by White Wolf

All the various Palladium systems

Mutants and Masterminds

Hero System

d20 Modern (and Future)

Any Star Wars setting

Any Star Trek setting

Babylon 5

Travelers

Battletech

Fantasy Craft

Spy Craft

The various Guardians of Order systems

have you ever looked at Morrowwind? the different video games i am going to imagine of that i love are a touch older even if different perfect RPG's that I truthfully have come for the length of are Wizardry 8. You create your people and that i imagine there are 8 in a celebration, you've the options of diverse races and classes. also may and Magic 6 is a good recreation. even if, it change into performed lower back in 1996, even if it change into the game of the three hundred and sixty 5 days. The portraits on it at the instantaneous are not too terrible. i change into addicted to MM6 till i ultimately beat it.
