TV can only stay on built in Wi-Fi for 15 minutes before crashing.?
I have two different Vizio EA70i TVs and both have the same issue.
When you load the Netflix built into the TV it will load the app about half the time, and when it does load it will only play any given video for about 15~30 minutes before crashing out.
I've tried contacting Vizio, and their response was essentially, "Your TV's aren't in warranty anymore, and resetting them didn't work, so you are out of luck."
Does anyone have any other ideas?
1 AnswerTVs2 years agoBlu-Ray player fuzzy, but only when plugged into a specific TV. What can I do to fix it?
I have a Blu-Ray, a Sony BPP-SP3700. Since the day we got it it has had screen snow when plugged into the TV it was meant to be used on, but only on that TV.
Sometimes the snow is worse than others. And it doesn t have a great wi-fi connection either despite being less than twenty feet from the Wireless router.
When placed in another room, on a different TV, both the wireless and the screen snow are completely not there.
One thing I can think of is there are a large bundle of cables back there, when on the second TV there were much fewer cables involved.
The second possibility is that on the correct TV the HDMI cable has to go through a pass-through wall connection, but so did the last Blu-Ray player, and it didn t have this trouble. (Though it was a much older, just HD Blu-Ray while the current box is 4K ready.)

3 AnswersVideo & Online Games6 years agoWhy won't Yahoo!Answers sort its results anymore?
I do a search for a question I would like to answer It defaults the results to most "relevant" (which usually isn't).
I try to get to newest, so I can see questions that aren't three years old and still open, and it doesn't change the sort. Trying the other sort options is the same, you cannot seem to sort the questions anymore, you just have to accept the default.

First, I am look for pen-and-paper style RPGs, not video games, so please don't recommend those.
What I am interested in is an RPG with an interesting way to build things. Particularly spaceships, mecha (giant robots), or other vehicles, but interesting character building would also be appreciated.

1 AnswerOther - Games & Recreation7 years agoIn Final Fantasy X HD, what difference does the expert sphere grid make?
I know the new Final Fantasy X HD is the "International" version that wasn't released in the US.
The International version includes a setting for the Sphere Grid called 'Expert mode'. I know that Expert Mode rearranges the grid and starts everyone in the center, but that's all I know.
Does Expert Mode make the game harder or does it just let you customize the characters more easily?
2 AnswersVideo & Online Games7 years agoHow can I download a video off of YouTube permanently to my iPad?
I have the latest generation iPad with wi-fi. There's this song I really like on YouTube that I haven't managed to find anywhere else. The YouTube app is good, but it has a tendency to forget the latest video if I don't keep it's attention and I am not always in a place where I can re-download the video.
Is there a way to pernamently download the video to memory so I don't have to worry about it?
Or even better, does anyone know where I can download this and the other Hymmnos songs as MP3 files?

I just got a new computer. As I understand it iPads won't synch to a new computer unless they are factory reset, which also trashes their data.
I really don't want to lose some of my program files, but fortunately I still have the computer that the iPad was originally synched to and it works. (Sorta)
If I preform once last backup of my iPad on the old computer, can I then take the files (particularly the apps) transfer them to the new computer and restore them? And if I do so, will my saves within the apps be preserved, or will I have to start over?

2 AnswersOther - Games & Recreation9 years agoHow is the performance of this laptop?
I'm looking at buying a Toshiba Satellite P870 as a replacement for my currently dying laptop. This will be my main computer, and as such I would like it to run some specific programs.
The specs are:
Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM Processor 2.30GHz (3.30GHz with Turbo Boost Technology 2.0), 6MB L3 Cache
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit, SP1
12GB DDR3 1600MHz SDRAM (4GB + 4GB + 4GB)
256GB SSD (Solid State Disk, Serial ATA) (Boot Drive)
640GB 2nd HDD (5400rpm, Serial-ATA)
2GB GDDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 630M with NVIDIA® Optimus™ Technology
DVD SuperMulti drive
harman/kardon® Quad speakers
Intel® Wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n) + Intel® Wireless Display Ready* + Bluetooth® v.4.0
How will this preform for the following games at medium or better?
Guild Wars 2 (this is the important one)
Saints Row 3
Civilization 5 (also a really wanted game)
Anno 2070
Diablo 3
Fallout 3
Skyrim
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoI need help choosing a laptop brand?
Well it seems my current laptop is on the way out. Errors and problems are piling up and it's seriously getting on my nerves.
Normally I'd just order another HP laptop, but I've really not been happy with their customer service lately. The thing is that I'm a little out of date on all the other manufactures and I'm not sure who to go with instead.
What I want is a couple of suggestions for a good company to get my new laptop from. There are a few things that the laptop needs to do, however, that may limit the suggestions.
1. The laptop is my primary computer, and hence needs to be capable of gaming as well as browsing.
2. An improved graphics card (or the option of customizing to one) is a must.
3. Switchable graphics (like HP uses) is something I'm hoping to avoid, it just complicates keeping your drivers up-to date.
4. It needs to be a PC laptop.
5. I don't need a fancy form factor, but I prefer at least a 15" monitor.
6. I'm not incredibly concerned about the price, but if the brand is expensive I want to get my money's worth, I'm not interested in buying a brand just to say I have the brand.
7. I don't need to to be so thin that it makes a paper-back look bulky. Thicker cases are fine.
8. And the battery pack needs to be replaceable. In my last search I discovered that a few laptop companies were integrating their batteries to be non-removable. Since I always end up replacing the batter at least once before getting a new laptop, that is not acceptable.
3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoHow can an HP 4100N detect non-standard cartridges?
I have an HP 4100N printer. I also have a standard HP made, 61x toner cartridge. However because the HP cartridges are outrageously expensive, this particular cartridge was refilled by a professional agency. Yet the printer detects it as a "Non HP Cartridge"
How can it tell? After all the cartridge was originally manufactured by HP.
4 AnswersPrinters9 years agoCan you help me with my jade plant?
I am worried about my jade plant.
1. It has white fuzz at many of it's joints. The fuzz doesn't move, so I don't think it's a bug.
2. Also several of the joints are throwing out roots, even though they are no where near the ground.
3. It is rather steadily losing leaves.
Does anyone know what this problem is and how I can fix it?
4 AnswersOther - Home & Garden9 years agoHow difficult is it to replace a PS3 hard drive?
I have one of the really old backwards compatible 20gig PS3s. Unfortunately, thanks to all the system upgrades there is almost no room on the drive. I want to replace the drive with something larger, but I'm not quite sure how to go about this, especially since I want to copy everything on the 'old' drive to the new one.
I'm assuming I don't need a special hard drive, and that any will do, but is there an easy way to copy and replace the PlayStation 3's hard drive?
3 AnswersPlayStation9 years agoHow much memory does an iPad user need?
I was looking into getting one of the new iPads, but I note that they come in three 'sizes' 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.
I plan to play a fair number of games on the iPad, and have a number of books (many of which will be deleted when I am done with them), but am not planing on storing videos on it. How much memory am I really going to need?
