I need help choosing a laptop brand?

Well I hate to say this because you said you didnt like HP, but I would recommend another HP. There are a few computer companies that have good customer service but it really depends on your area. Unlike technology, customer service has stayed in the dark ages for most companies.

Specifically I would recommend the one I use ( this is how I can recommend it)

It is a notebook instead of a normal laptop so it takes a little to get used to.

1) as far as gaming and browsing and overall processing capabilities, I use my computer to game anything from mmorpgs such as Aion to smaller file size games such as League of Legends to older games such as Age of Empires with no problem. It also runs my AutoCAD (engineering design type program) with no delay.

2) it has Intel HD graphics (I believe integrated into the laptop so dont think you can customize it) but like I said, it runs my gaming with good graphics on

3)It is a PC laptop

4)It is only 14" so its a little smaller than what you wanted

5)It's about $770 from places like amazon but I didn't look at bestbuy and newegg etc.

6)Well even if you dont need it, its very small, compact and very very light with an incredible battery life.

7)battery pack is found right and the rear underside of the notebook and it extremely easy to replace, can be removed and like I said, comes with a very long lasting battery life.

on a side note, it comes with a simplepass fingerprint password memory system built in which I find very handy when I want it to remember my passwords but I dont want other people to be able to use my computer to log into my email
