"Online" degrees are generally worthless. All "online degree" websites shout that they are accredited, but the question is "By whom??" Any "fly by night" group of dirt bags can set itself up as an "accrediting agency," ask the website to pay them a few thousand dollars, and then tell everyone, "Yup!! They're accredited!!" What good is that?? Unless the "accreditation" is from a regional accrediting agency recognized by the department of education, it really doesn't mean much. Further, graduate schools and employers are totally turned off by "online" degrees. Rather than give money to these idiots, you would be better off to print yourself a fake degree on your computer and forget the whole thing. If you really want the advantages of having an actual college degree, which means the ability to attend graduate school or get a good job, then, frankly, you need to do the work which is involved in attending a real college.
