check with a local vet to see what organisations might be available in your area. maybe contact a zoo or wildlife park if there is one nearby and volunteer or see how you might be able to help. there are a number of international organisations oftn needing help such as the world wildlife fund - check them out on the net. if there is an animal rescue organisation in your area think about joining them.

even walking pets for elderly or disabled people is a worthwhile thing to do. babysitting animals is another option.

Wanting to be part of a social cause has nothing to do with a failed marriage. Separate the two. Join a social cause AND look for a replacement mate. The two are not exclusive.

Start a animal help group with people that have vowed to not get married. I am not sure how I keep coming up with these genius level ideas.
