Question for Romney supporters?

As an Independent, I believe that innovations such as Biotech and Nanotechnology and basically things that our scientist create is the future of American manufacturing, as I myself works for a profitable Biotech company that uses stem cells to create an FDA approved product. Obama said that was his direction last night, and as someone that works in this industry I know it takes much more than 4 years to develop, and other countries really can't replicate these types of products very easily.

My question is, if Republicans don't support stem cells and science in this country, how will we possibly ever produce anything?

And if Romney is really all about getting America jobs, what is this site about?

Please read www.bainport.com is that his strategy or is that Lib propaganda?

Please tell me how can his plan possibly work?

Lets keep this civil and intelligent.

Update:

@ Kathy I'm not blowing smoke. I work for a company that uses donated foreskins to create skin from the stem cells contained. Just because where you live doesn't have any jobs like this don't make the assumption that my place of employment doesn't exist.

Also embryo stems cells are the best because they can be made into any tissue type, and everyday every state throws them into the garbage during the in-vitro fertilization process, in which they choose only the very best and the other get trashed. Imagine what we could do with all the embryos we trash everyday. Like it or not we are killing embryos as we discuss this, and wasting the cells.

Republicans have NEVER had a problem with adult stem cell research, and if you really are in that industry... and not just blowing smoke... you know that is where the future of stem cell therapies lie.

    Edit:

Yes, I am aware that foreskins stem cells are showing promise as well as adult stem cells, but that still isn't embryonic, now is it? And for the record, I understand the difference between undifferentiated embryonic cells and fetuses, so I am "not one of THOSE people," but why create an ethical dilemma where none is needed. Adult stem cells can EASILY be converted to any type of stem cell science needs. I say again, embryonic stem cell research is rapidly becoming obsolete.

Stem cells are not the ONLY technology out there. And to say that other countries cannot replicate these products very easily is not exactly accurate. If you look at history, we developed several products and created new technologies that no other country could develop, but as you know, once the process is figured out, it is only a matter of time before some other country will figure a way to do it and provide the product at lower cost to the consumer. Republicans do support science, to say they do not is simply a lie. But they do believe that there is a need to produce products in ways that our society finds to be ethical. Science, without ethics leads to situations such as what the Nazis did to the Jews or "shortcuts" taken by the Soviets for the sake of developing new technologies that caused the deaths and illness for millions of their citizens

This site looks like the people behind it are upset about the possible outsourcing of their jobs.

Republicans (at least George W. Bush) support stem cell research as long as they aren't taken from dead embryos.

No candidate in either party, ever, would want to end scientific innovation in this country, there is a difference between stopping waste and 'dead end' projects and trying to stop our scientific greatness.

You must acknowledge that some funding isn't going to research of fruitful projects.

We support adult stem cell development, because they are cost effective and cures are being found.

We do not support fetal stem cell research. It is a money pit, and cures have never been found. That is the difference.

We also support science, that is a lie that we don't.

    Lie!

    A Liberal lie.

Well vote for Obama and he will borrow more money from China, and triple our national debt(already doubled it), and turn us in to a socialistic country.
