If all taxes on the rich (and corporate tax) just hurt the middle class via company downsizing, then...?

If all taxes on the rich (and corporate tax) just hurt the middle class via company downsizing, then should these deified "job creators" just have tax exempt status? Should the tax burden just be shifted entirely off them onto the working class?

After all, there's no penalty for taking a middle class or poor person's money; they have no one to fire!

Do inform me if my logic is flawed (or too satirical to warrant address).

Update:

@Andrew

A fine answer, assuming you're willing to put the military budget on the chopping block along with everything else.

    No flaw in your logic. Apparently the tax breaks the rich have been getting over the last 30 years - yes, they are winning the class war-fare - have not been enough. Full tax exempt status might do the trick.

    Yee I'm amazed this idea that "the rich are self made" and all that stuff, nothing could be further from the truth.

    In a modern society almost no-one is self sufficient, everyone relies on others....and it's to the benefit to everyone to contribute their fare-share back into society....

    Even a trillionaire relies on a mechanic to fix his car, he relies on workers to build his car, he relies on workers who build the roads, farmers for his food, doctors for his health, dentists, hair dresses, his cloths are made by others, his garbage is collected by others, who paid to educate the people he hires.... and the list goes on....

    Everybody plays an important part in society whether it's a cleaner or the president....

    Taxes should be lowered for everyone to create economic stimulus and the government should simply reduce expenditures.
