Did they verbally or give you a letter of acceptance that your expected start date is "tomorrow". Follow up with a phone call to confirm whether you can come in to start work "tomorrow". As for the background check, if the result came back that you failed, the company can still terminate you even you already started work. They let you start work because they assume your background check is clean. Background check with thumbprints etc may take a couple of weeks. Call them to be sure on your starting date *

I've at all times been confused via this query. Wouldn't you understand you probably have some thing for your history? My history has been run mostly and that i never gave it a idea considering the fact that i do know i have nothing in my background. Nevertheless, if you happen to ought to know, name and ask if the position has been filled but and if not, are they nonetheless for the reason that you. Don't talk about your background considering the fact that they will consider that you've one when you have got to truly ask about it.

If they gave you an expected start date of tomorrow and you haven't heard anything more from them, definitely give them a call today. They might be expecting you to show up tomorrow.

    Good luck.
