Is this true about David Koch?

That he once promised to do away with Society Security, minimum-wage laws, corporate taxes, all price supports and subsidies for agriculture and business?

Update:

He said exactly that when he was the Libertarian Party's VP choice in the 1980 Presidential election.

That is part of the social and political objectives of the Koch brothers and their father when he was alive.

That is one of the reasons why he is so evil and dangerous.

It was more of what Ed Clark/David Koch were saying they would do when both were running for President/Vice President as Libertarians. Koch was running as VP

The idea of such comes from a book written by Milton Friedman, called Capitalism and Freedom

I don't know if he "promised" that, since he isn't a politician and cannot do away with any of them.

However, that does sound correct, based on his general support for conservatism and limited government.

Nothing wrong with holding such a rational and logical view.

But liberals soil their panties when they read such things, as if without them the world would collapse.

Yes, that's called Libertarianism, that's Ron Paul ideology.

Big oil is in Ron Paul's district and he gets their full backing.

David koch has never sought elective office..whether he supports abolishing those programs or not is his business AND his right!..or are you REALLY suggesting that we turn reality on its head and make being wealthy a hindrance to advocacy the way poverty is now?..surely you can't be that stupid!?
