MTG Corpsejack mechanic question.?
If I have a Corpsejack Menace on the field and I cast a Primordial Hyda, does the hydra get double the initial counters? Say I use 6 mana, normally the hydra enters the field as a 4/4, would Corpsejack make it a 8/8?
Follow up question. During my upkeep I "double" the counters on the hydra. Corpsjack doubles them again. What would said 8/8 become on the next turn? I'm thinking a 24/24. (8+8+16=24)
I meant to say (8+8+8=24)

Yes and no.
1. The hydra would come into play with double the counters.
2. Your math is off. First the 8/8 doubles to 16/16 then doubles again to 32/32.
When calculating doubling effects, you multiply the number x2 for each doubling effect. 8/8 x4 is 32/32

Yeah he's totally right. It would be 8 then 32. If what I think is happening is right its because yew choose how the effects stack...
