Try ab work outs, they're great and you use your body as the equipment. Also search love handle exercise (if that is a target area your looking for). Burpies, yes they are great but they will also make you hate working out. Dancing, that is a great suggestion and fun. It's easy and it gets your whole body moving. A combonation of all that seems to be perfect, it all depends if (depending on the day) you want something hard core (burpies),light and fun (dancing), or something that will build muscle (ab workout), or something that loses fat from target area (specific exercises). Here are some links to a couple of good exercises I use!

Well, I'm getting a indoor punching bag pretty soon. I used to have one and loved it. You can do all kinds of exercises(push ups, pull ups, jumping jacks, crunches, leg lifts,etc...) mixed with stretching to burn calories. There is also yoga and pilates. You can get an exercise bike, treadmill or trainer(hooks up to a regular bicycle to make an exercise bike. Jump rope. In the next few weeks tons of people will be buying home exercise equipment and not using it. Come the 3-4th week of January you can get this stuff cheap from local want ads. People have great intentions. But, intentions don't burn calories. Look around at local fitness magazines and you'll find used stuff for sale now. Join a gym. The YMCA is good because they don't do contracts and sometimes give discount memberships depending on where you work.
