Everytime we fight, I cry, I seriously can't help it!!?

Me and my sister basically fight everyday, as sisters, I don't think we'll ever get along, things just never ever sort themselves out. When the conflict isn't resolved, I get this intense feeling of anger inside and tears just start flowing out. I don't necessarily feel that much better but I've been this way for as long as I can remember. Instead of going for a run as some do, or writing my emotions down, I cry. And I'm 19, I just want to stop crying over everything.

I'm super sensitive and I have an anxiety disorder, could this have something to do with it?!

Do these fights simply frustrate you because you feel that as sisters you should get along, or are you angry at her specifically because she makes you upset and you don't "win" the conflicts?

If it's the latter, you have a serious attitude problem (and she probably does too, if it's always been like this between you; it can't just be one of you starting every single fight). Counseling might help.

If it's the former, the best solution would be to try to talk to her and figure out what the problem is. Get someone to arbitrate, if necessary—a friend, or a professional—to keep things from devolving into a fresh fight. Even if you can't find a source for the conflicts, you could at least agree to make deliberate attempts to not fight in the future. If talking isn't possible then you should get away from her ASAP, or at least do everything you can to avoid sharing space with her—it's extremely possible that your anxiety disorder is a combination of your sensitivity and the stress caused by the fights and that, yes, your crying is a consequence of that blend.

I always bite my upper lip and count to ten. If that doesn't work, I will scream loudly in my head : Don't cry adrian, the girls are watching..your manhood is at stake! If that doesn't work either, then I cry. Because it must be something very painful. Some people don't handle emotions well and I hate others who judge people weak just because one is sensitive. I think it is a good attribute that you are sensitive about things. It shows you're a caring person.

Im 14 ( a male) and I don't get along with my family either. Im just so much different to them we r Bengali and that means anger and pride but I have no pride but a lot of anger which I choose to keep bottled up inside. I've been depressed for a while.and severely depressed for about 3 years and im only 14 my answer to it, is to work( which I've been applying for) and spend more time outside of home becuz if u dont talk to them there will be no fight. And at the age of 18 I will move out so for u getting a job unless u have one and moving out would be a last resort you will probably change for the better. If not. Talk to your parents and arrange something or just avoid your sister.

Source(s): My sisters 23 she's the oldest and im the youngest we dont get along bcuz were so much different whereas my brother (15) and her really gets along bcuz of same bad personality but... They do have arguments sometimes bcuz of same bad personality.
