S.A. 1. 5-11X> 71 : -11X>71-5=66; -11x /11>66/11; -x>6; X>-6
2.4(X-6)=7X; 4X-24=7X; 7X-3X=-24; 4X=-24; X=negative 8
3. 4X+7=31; 4X+7=55; 4X=31-7=24; 4X=24; X=6.
4X=55-7=48; 4X=48; X=12 Therefoer the interval is all numbers greater> than or = to 6 and . less than or = to 12. ( P.S.) An interval is just a space between different occurrences. Example :" The train will not leave before 6:30 nor later than 12:00" ; therefore the traiin may leave anytime+ from 6:30 to 12:00 or "Open 8 to 6" = The doors will be open anytime from 8AM to 6PM. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
