Is it hard to move to Australia?

I'm 16 at the moment, but I'm thinking about moving from here, the U.K, to Australia, for many reasons. I've heard it's difficult to get visas and so on, but I'm hoping to become either a veterinarian or a cognitive psychologist, do you think I stand a fair chance? If I would move, I'm most probably going to do so on my own, and will have to start up a new life there, do you think it's worth it? I personally, do, but are there any points I should be aware of? Thanks.

No it's not difficult but like most poms you will probably come here for a few months complain about everything and go home. Waste of money

  • Dear Luke you will be fully occupied in Australia as a cognitive psychologist because there are some major problems here with years of mineral dificiency as you can see they lack a sense of irony the first thing you wll notice about AUstralians is this rather alarming trait dont make jokes when you arrive and only tell them exactly what they want to hear or are comfortable with

Look I am an evolutionary psychologist written a book on it called One Law I have been here for nearly fifty years on this expedition studying the results of years of bad diets and very cold beer on the brain you would be better off if you came as a refugee and pretended you are a muslim because these are the favourite choice of AUstralians at this moment oh and when you get here the real estate agents control the whole country they decide whether you can move around or not it is a bit bizarre

Stay away from Broken Hill and Tasmania they hate pommes there stay away from Hay in NSW and Gymea in Sydney stay away from Alice Springs they also dont like pommes at all there, and the greens here are trying to make all males become gay so watch that if you arrive especially if you are young and cute around Sydney

I came here when I was fifteen a long time ago so the warning about Sydney is from experience, . and am not accepted yet as an AUstralian although if I played sport and was from Tanzania and had arrived two weeks ago I would be,

Are you good at swimmng or batting or spin bowling that will get you straight in at the moment the Aussies are desperate for good swimmers right now. Better come for a look around first before you make the big leap but leave your English sense of humour behind it will only get you into trouble

Sassy as of today, yes you stand a great chance if you had those degrees and the specified experience in either of those fields. But to ask hat it will be like in ten to twelve years, circumstances can change.

Be aware of the dropbears, snakes, spiders and bogans if you do come down here.
