2003 ford e350 tranny problem?

what causes your tranny to shutter and slip while hot only between 45-55. If you gun the engine it will stop. It happens in both over drive and while over drive is disengaged. we already replaced the fuel filter.

    A slipping torque converter lock-up clutch! Perform a Self-test of the PCM (powertrain control module) to check for any stored codes, Then update your findings.
