    [H3O+] = 10^-pH = 10^-7.49 = 3.2 x 10^-8 M

    Since [H3O+] = [OH-] in pure water, [OH-] = 3.2 x 10^-8 M

    Kw = [H3O+][OH-] = (3.2 x 10^-8)^2 = 1.0 x 10^-15
