Will anti-Mormon liberals vote for Reid if he gets the nomination in the next election cycle?

Yes, I know it's a hypothetical (Reid running).

While I do not support Romney, I find it amusing that being a Mormon seems to only be wrong and a bad thing if you're a Republican (I have yet to year a liberal that bashes Romney for being a Mormon say something bad about Reid being one).

And before you say "Reid isn't running", I feel the need to point out that I stated that it was a hypothetical, and that Reid is in a position of power on the national level and is in more of a position to set policy and law than the President is.

Liberals NEVER make their politicians go by any rules that they set for other politicians.

The Kennedy family was guilty of rapes and the leader of the N.O.W. movement said "well, we have to think of how much good the Kennedys have done for the woman's movement. (This of course really meant, the Kennedys push for free abortions on demand, regardless of age or situation and with or without parental consent.)

Clinton was charged with sexual assault by a half dozen women and the Left was fine with it.

He is still "the darling of the Left".

Romney is a Mormon and that makes him a Demon, woman hating and baby eater, yet Reid, who actually CONVERTED BY CHOICE (although fake) is held up as a hero because he hates the U.S. like all good liberal.

Reid would never get the nomination - while he's an outspoken Dem he s against abortion, gay marriage, and has a lot in common with Romney on social issues.

As for the bigoted attacks, as a Mormon myself I pay attention to them, by and large the republican attacks stopped after the convention and the dem attacks are hushed for one huge reason - they don't want to open Obama up to the painful combination of Rev Jeremiah Wright and ideas about his Muslim training.

The attacks only happened when they served people's interests, and nobody is bringing them up anymore.

If you are taking bets on the possibility of that happening..... let me know.

I've got some money in savings that isn't doing much.... and Harry Reid NOT being the Dem nominee in 2016 is as close to a guaranteed bet as I've ever seen.

Otherwise.... I'd like to see who else is running before I answer.....Harry is hardly a strong leader.

    EDIT:

Since when has the Democratic Party been the party focused on religion, belief, and faith??

You cannot see the hypocrisy is DEMANDING every Republican candidate in the last 40 years have strong Christian faith..... and then virtually ALL REPUBLICANS suddenly.... after 40 years... FORGETTING THIS and running a Mormon at the top of the ticket??

And pointing it out is LIBERAL hypocrisy??

That's rich..... even from those that live inside that impenetrable conservative bubble.

You mean like they haven't voted for him in Nevada all these years?

Why do you make up stuff about an entire group of people you can't even back up with evidence? I've heard a lot more anti-Mormon stuff from the right than the left! Like the decidedly right wing American Family Association! http://www.christianpost.com/news/mitt-romney-jabs...

Reid is controlled by the gambling industry and his religion doesn't apply in this case.

This is why libs are hypocrites. They mock Romney's religion, but forget that Reid is a part of the same faith!
