Good non-fiction/fiction survival books that tell a story?

I would like a book that is either fiction or non-fiction that has pages from 150-350

And i would like it a book that tells a story, not just list ideas

and can be adult to sophisticated grade school

One of my favorite survival books is "Vertical Run" by Joseph Garber. It's about what a Vietnam veteran does do survive the day when from the moment he arrives at work, everybody tries to kill him.

It's pretty exciting, a fast and fun read.

I additionally like "Island of the Blue Dolphins" by potential of Scott O'dell. if she (DS potential daughter's?) likes it seem at extra Scott O'Dell. I additionally like for this age: White Fang & call of the Wild by potential of Jack London (I remember in 4th a non-reader female in my class getting truly excited approximately those) Julie of the Wolves Jean Craighead George sign of the Beaver by potential of Elizabeth George Speare no longer precisely "survivalist" yet in seek of a Sandhill Crane by potential of Keith Robertson - is a brilliant woodland/nature tale some city boy studying to conform to hiking, organic international, forestry, birdwatching, and so on whilst staying along with his aunt interior the woods. i does no longer placed 10 year previous on "Lord of the Flies" or "Into the Wild" - the two good books yet thematically too complicated and annoying (particularly if she did no longer like "bridge to terebithia")
