Fancy dress themed birthday ideas?

Basically for my 17th I'm hiring out a disco hall, I really want a awesome theme for the party. So that everyone will dress up, Something male and females will like? Thanks x

    well things like austin powers are always fun

    but my friend had a really funny party where girls had to dress up as boys and visa versa it was halerious!! but you might not want to do that..

    just something fun but not too tricky
