Lyme disease may never leave its host, but symptoms can come and go. There is seldom a cure, it is more of a treatment.

It can be as a rule now not the remedy. Doxycycline is an awfully trustworthy medication that does not more often than not purpose issues in puppies. When a canine has Lyme ailment (or any other tick borne illness), it makes all of their joints and muscle tissue damage. That is why most of them do not wish to stroll around so much, and hesitate about getting up and down a lot. Your canine may have displayed symptoms due to the fact that he won't have felt ill, but the stress of going to the vet and getting vaccines will have knocked his immune method down a tad and triggered the signs to show up. Even healthy dogs are most likely worn out after going to the vet, and a canine with a tick borne ailment can be even more so. Contact your vet in the morning and provide an explanation for your considerations. The will have to be inclined to inform you more about what's going on. Tick based health problem take a whilst to treat, so maintain that in intellect as well. It can be not like a bloodless that goes away quite swiftly. You ought to give the treatment time to work. Hope this helps.

The symptoms like lethargy, vomiting/diarrhea, and soreness of the joints will start to go away after a few days on the Doxycycline. However, like the person before me stated some dogs will never fully get rid of it. So the dog can have flares of the same symptoms months, years down the road. Each time they will be retreated with the same antibiotic therapy.
