How could I use a piece of music in my film legally on YouTube?

I've been looking to make a film and I was wondering how I could use a piece of music legally of I was to post the movie on YouTube.

    Permission from the publisher or it has to clearly fall in the "for educational use only" clause of copyright.

    Use an older piece of music where they copyright has expired and it has passed into the public domain

    hi Simone! If I have been the killer in a slasher / horror action picture the track i might use may be used " tongue in cheek. " seem On Th outstanding factor Of existence by potential of Monty Python. My action picture may be parody of such videos. i'm sorry, i'm hopeless at hyperlinks. B.Q. What made me a danger?
