Yes these are true and plus Android can do way more.

If people say go for the Apple there are wrong, for started you don't have Adobe Flash so you can't surf all the web plus the new iOS6 doesn't have the Google maps or YouTube, you need to go to the site from the Web Browser.

Also Android have support for more video, picture and music formats unlike the iPod,iPad

The Samsung has a big range of tablets and Asus has a few good ones.

I suggest the Asus Transformer or Samsung Galaxy Tab
