For the following reaction, MgBr2 (aq) + CuSO4 (aq)

1) write the balanced molecular equation. (Include phase labels)

2) what is the color of the precipitate

3) what is the final color of the solution

    The two potential products , CuBr2 and MgSO4 are both soluble in water . No reaction will occur- nyou will have a solution containing a mixture of Cu2+ , SO4 2- , Mg2+ and Br- ions. NO reaction means no equation

    No precipitate so no colour

    Look up the solubilities of copper(II) bromide and magnesium sulfate to see if they are insoluble.
