I went to Dengue ward of a hospital today. Will I be affected?

I am doing PG in journalism so I had to go for reporting a story about dengue from the hospital. I was standing in a ward full of dengue patients and their relatives, all over the place. Will I be affected?? I wouldn't say that place was without mosquitoes... there were a few. I am kinda scared about this...

Please tell me how likely I am to get it and what I can do?

    you better be taking precautionary measure to prevent it to infect you as it is air borne
