What CPU won't bottleneck my GPU?

I a Radeon 6850 i aksi have a old CPU but need a new one wich one goes great with the 6850?

i also have 4GB of ram when i buy the new CPU should i upgrade my ram or just keep it that way, i was also was thinking of getting a Intel Core I5 2500K but if you guys recommend the I5 how much ram should i get?

    its the Mainboard CHIPSET that decides.

    the chipset decides which

    CPU's you can fit

    What throughput you will get

    how fast everything will be

    little else has any effect.
