Floor trusses for single level home?
I am drawing up plans for a single level home in northern Arkansas. I cant seem to find any examples of homes built on cinder block piers that use floor trusses for the first floor. is it possible to build the first floor with custom floor trusses that span14' that are then supported by cinder block piers and beams then span another 14' with another set of floor tusses to the other side of the structure? The 2x4's would have to be treated and made with decking screws to hold up to corrosion. Any help is much appreciated

Not trusses,..But ...laminate beams,..or just use 2x12x 14,...or laminate beams that are 28 foot..
The Cost would dictate what you should use..

trusses aren't needed to span 14'
conventional platform framing will be plenty strong enough for that small distance
