Are we that starved of anything the least bit newsworthy that this is the best they can come up with ? Says a lot about what the fickle public's interested in ....

Must have been a slow news day. The commercial stations really think we're all stupid. Some of the guff they run in the news is just ridiculous. There's a whole world out there generating news stories that would be more interesting or have more impact than that.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. What is it coming to when the death

of a politicians cat makes the news!

I can't stand cats because they kill small birds & animals but everyone

to their own.

In the west there is not a single night that passes where the commercial

channels, at their 6:00pm time slot, doesn't have a similar story to this.

Either that or someone putting on fake crying about how her eleven kids

wont have any Christmas presents due to a fire at their rented house!

Cats carry i highly infectious decease called Toxoplasma for which there is no cure .

this is a very seriuos desease for pregment humans .
