McAfee is blocking my wireless internet, need help?

My wireless internet is not working anywhere, and my diagnostic check says that there is a firewall blocking it, which makes sense because McAfee is telling me my computer is at risk. In the help menu it says to click "web and email protection," then "firewall" then the "security levels" drawer, which is nowhere to be found. My only options after clicking "firewall" is "turn on" and "restore defaults," neither of which fix the problem. Any help greatly appreciated

Update:

I actually have Microsoft Security Essentials on my computer already, so it would be safe to uninstall McAfee with this already on my computer?

mcaffe and some other antivirus programs will block wireless at times. my suggestion is to download avast or avg antivirus programs and load one of them on to your laptop. then i would uninstall mcaffee. your system will still be protected and you should be able to use your wireless. the good thing these 2 programs are free and techs have been using them and recommending them for years.
