Converting Crx to....?
Well, I generally would ask this on Honda-tech, but I don't feel like being flamed, and I doubt I will get a answer from here but anyway, I have a 89 CRX, with a b16 swap. I know I need to use the CRV awd tranny, drive shaft, and think a Cable shifter instead of the shiftlinkage. So can anyone help with links on a how-to build(I've looked to no avail) or if some how you have any experience in doing this swap.
Forgot to add, that I want to convert it to AWD(if you didn't get it)
Just to show you "mr. mechanic" that I can weld and cut. I know more about Honda's then you, so if you would like to help, please do, if not don't respond.

Would I have to modify the rear trailing arms? If so how?
It's a project, you need to cut and weld to do this. Not to mention, I need to pull the engine anyway to replace my rear main seal, so It is okay if this car has down time. Do you really know Honda's in all honesty? Because you seem to be beating around the bush.
Yeah I do wish to go turbo, but I am going to spend the cash on the AWD conversion first. Then start piecing together the turbo. i already have low comp pistons/rods(8:5:1) waiting to be dropped right in haha
Aww who is butt hurt. Does it make you feel more manly to point out 1 mistake haha. Reported for cursing and spam, good day mr.no nothing.
Waits for you to start complaining about "mr.no nothing" Aww come on I made a blatant mistake. Come point it out again. Haha.
Okay, go back to answering questions in dating and womans health. "when I squirt" Haha I really am dealing with a teenager.
No wonder you know nothing about cars. You live in the UK where emissions aren't a problem and all you guys do is buy sports cars and NEVER build your own car. No wonder all you do is look at the site(which I don't know how you know but that's your thing) Anyway, when you do learn about building your own engine, please come back to me and maybe we can have a half way decent conversation.

b20 awd trans and rtawd rear setup. i think u gotta cut your existing controll arms and mate them with the rtawd controll arms
Way to go making yourself look like you are 12. But you probably are. Don't listen to this guy Sky, he doesn't kwno a thing. You can also use a wagovan AWD system, but you will need to go B2D similar to H2B and will need:(note this is if you are going turbo which I assume you will be)
Oil pan clearanced for transfer case.
Trans mount needed to be raised 1"
Viscous coupler mount
Rear diff mount
New manifold. Shorter runners, undivided collector, front facing inlet.
Cable shifter mount
Source(s): EDIT: This guy thinks a AWD crx is your "creation?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrfTcbtDDe4 It's been done before and many times. Just look on youtube before you start mocking other people when you yourself honestly have no clue about mechanics or engineering.
