Pain on left lung/heart when deeply inhaling.?

I was at the gym yesterday and as I was on my back doing a chest exercise with dumbbells. After my second set I noticed sharp pains on my left side every time I inhale deeply. This also includes things like laughing or yawning. It has gotten better from last night but I still can't take deep breaths.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

I should add I eat very healthy, and have never smoked.

This could depend on how long it has been occurring. Most likely is it just a simple pinched nerve. It could be a health problem if you are a heavy smoker or have stress issues. But for the majority of people, it is just nerves. It will go away in a day or so.
